Where FleetEdge is today and where it is going.

The products you can use — and the analytics that power them.

This page has two layers: the products — what you can use, and when — and the analytics that power them, grouped by readiness. SailrScience does not publish release dates — each product and capability ships when it meets the quality and accuracy standards required for production use.

One platform. Six ways in.

Open

Atlas Available

Explore the whole rated fleet — see where any boat, class, or country sits.

The open atlas is the country, fleet, and event pages of this site — free to read, no account.

The published proof

The Atlas is where the sport can check the measurement for itself, openly. The professional products below put the full FleetEdge instrument set in your hands — private, scoped, and built on the same analytics.

Professional

What the products are built on.

Every product draws on the same production analytics. Readiness below is about the analytics themselves — availability of a product is stated above, and only there.

In production.

Fleet Analytics

Archetype distributions, dimensional comparisons, and structural pattern analysis across the rated fleet.

In production — published openly across the Atlas pages.

Team Diagnostics Methodology

Individual boat profiling with multi-dimensional decomposition — where a boat sits within its design family, and how it compares to fleet-wide benchmarks.

In production — packaged for racing teams by the planned Team Diagnostic product.

Crew Performance Residual

Isolation of the crew's contribution from the boat's design contribution. Boats with race results receive a crew residual measurement; the signal sharpens as the race-results dataset grows.

In production — packaged for teams by the planned Team Diagnostic product, and for organizers by the planned Event Pack's fairness readout.

Hull Efficiency & Rating Analysis

Six hull-efficiency parameters (L/Disp, SA/WS, Cp, RM@25, BWL/TC, displacement/length), rating decomposition (GPH, TCC, scoring allowances), and classification analysis.

In production — published openly across the Atlas pages.

The Archetype Framework

Every boat grouped into one of eleven design families from its certificate and physics data — the fair-comparison basis behind every FleetEdge view.

In production — published across the Atlas pages; every product builds on it.

ORC + IRC Twins

IRC certificates matched to their ORC design-family equivalents using measured hull dimensions — validated against dual-rated boats where both certificates exist, with every twin transparently labelled as a class-sibling projection.

In production — published across the Atlas pages; carried into the planned Event Pack.

Race Micro-Cohorts

Filter to a specific regatta and see every boat that competed, with full dimensional analytics — pre-race intelligence and post-race context.

In production — packaged for organizers and media by the planned Event Pack and Media Desk.

Weather Intelligence

Per-race atmospheric context — wind speed and direction, wave height and period, surface pressure — derived from ECMWF ERA5 reanalysis at 31 km resolution, sampled against race-leg centroids and venue bounding boxes.

In production — packaged for organizers and media by the planned Event Pack and Media Desk.

Ocean Currents

Per-boat ocean-current profiles at race venues and along long-distance waypoints, derived from HYCOM GLBy reanalysis — live coverage spans Cowes, Fastnet, the Rolex Middle Sea, Sydney–Hobart, and the RORC Caribbean 600.

In production — carried into the planned Event Pack.

In validation.

Condition & Tactical Dimensions

Wind-response profiles, sea-state adaptation characteristics, and tactical decision-quality metrics — the framework is designed and calibrated against race-level condition data; production integration depends on granular condition data from event scoring systems.

Planned analytics.

Opponent Modeling

Head-to-head dimensional comparison across the fleet — where two boats diverge in their performance profiles, and which conditions favor each design strategy.

Boat Maintenance Signals

Performance-degradation detection over time — when a boat's empirical results begin to diverge from its dimensional profile in ways that suggest maintenance or condition factors.
